Quirk Handles / Guessing Games

These games all involve clueless players who must guess certain quirks given to other players in the scene (and sometimes, themselves!).

 Dating Game

(4 players)

One player is designated the Dating Game contestant.  He/she must leave the room.  During that absence, the other three players are given quirks, characteristics, or famous people to impersonate.  When the contestant comes back into the room, he/she must question the bachelorettes/bachelors as if on a TV dating show, and finally, guess the quirks of the lovely date contestants.

Famous People Cafe

(4 players)

Complicated to describe, but classic to watch! Three players are designated celebrities.  One at a time, they leave the room, and are assigned a celebrity identity, such that everyone in the room knows who they are impersonating except themselves!  The three players then play out a scene as if they are meeting at a cafe for a meal, all the while trying to help the other players figure out their identities.  A fourth player serves as the waiter, who knows all three identities, and drops hints during the scene.

Interrogation / Crime Confession

(3 players)

One player is designated a criminal (Gasp!).  After that player leaves the room, it is decided who that criminal is, and what crime he/she committed.  When the criminal comes back into the room, two cops must interrogate the criminal, and, in the process, help that player confess to his/her own mysterious crime!

Party Quirks

(4 players)

One player is chosen the host of a party.  After he/she is sent out of the room, the other three players- guests at the party- are given quirks, existing characters, or other crazy characteristics, by the audience.  When the host returns and the party begins, the host must guess who each guest is.

Press Conference

(4 players)

One player is assigned the duty of holding a press conference, and must leave the room.  From there it is decided who the character is, and why he/she is holding a press conference.  Then he/she is brought back into the room, and the press conference begins.  The other three players in the scene play members of the press who ask questions of the guesser, to help clear up who he/she is.

Weird Newscasters

(4 players)

This game does not involve any guessing, but is fun to play and watch nonetheless.  Four players present a newscast.  One is the weatherperson, one is the sportscaster, and one is the co-anchor, who are all given strange quirks.  The fourth player is the “straight man” news anchor, who attempts to hold the newscast together!
